We value you as a long term customer and present the following simple terms and conditions as our most economical means of serving you.
PAYMENT ISSUES: All shipments are made C.O.D. unless prior arrangements are made. Distributors desiring to open an account must provide four (4) credit references from suppliers plus a bank reference. Payment for all goods shipped on an open account is due within 30 days from invoice date or shipping date, whichever is later.
OVERDUE ACCOUNTS WILL BE PUT ON C.O.D. AFTER 60 DAYS. AFTER 90 DAYS THE ACCOUNT WILL BECOME C.O.D. CASH ONLY. ALL OVERDUE ACCOUNTS WILL BE CHARGED 1.5% PER MONTH ON THE BALANCE.
FREIGHT POLICY: All shipments are F.O.B. Ham Lake, MN. All shipments are insured at your cost, which is added to the charges. Our carrier is UPS, or ABF Common Carrier.
CLAIMS: Claims for damage in shipment must be made to Altec within 7 days from date of receipt. Claims for shortages in shipment must be made in writing to Altec within 7 days of receipt. Phone notice will be accepted.
DISCOUNT QUALIFICATIONS: WHOLESALE pricing ONLY to prequalified buyers who show evidence of Jobber Catalog sales and place an initial order of over $4,000.00. Future orders must be at least $750.00 to maintain wholesale pricing. Accounts not filling this requirement will become DEALER. DEALER minimum orders must be at least $150.00. Orders not meeting this requirement are subject to a $10.00 service fee.
PRICES: All prices are subject to changes without notice, although we will attempt to give you at least 45 days notice of any changes.
GUARANTEE: All ALTEC Products are warranted free from manufacturing defects. If a defective part is found, please advise us and we will authorize a return for replacement. We do not guarantee against damage due to incorrect installation, road hazards, or misuse.
RETURNS: Returns for any reason other than defective merchandise are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Always call for an authorization before returning a product.
